EXHIBITION AND
PROJECT PROPOSALS
Thank you for your interest in presenting an exhibition or installation at the Athens Cultural Center!
Exhibition and Project Proposals will be considered on a rolling basis within two months of submission. All proposals are reviewed by ACC’s Program Committee and are subject to ACC Board approval. Approved projects will be scheduled into the ACC three-year program plan.
Proposals must include the following information:
Curatorial or creator statement with full concept and potential content
Exhibition duration (ACC’s schedule has limited flexibility in the next 12-15 months)
Estimated budget please consider the following: artwork transport, installation costs (such as framing or special construction), artist/talent honorarium, and/or curator’s honoraria.
Curator(s)/artist(s) bio and contact information.
ACC aligns budgets with the Working Artists and the Greater Economy (W.A.G.E.) scale for compensation range. As a registered 501(3)c nonprofit, we rely on the support of our members, community partners, sponsorships, and grants. Depending on the nature of your exhibition, ACC may take a percentage of sales to help cover our operating costs.

Teaching at acc
Thank you for your interest in teaching at the Athens Cultural Center! We accept teaching artist applications year-round and look forward to learning more about you, your practice, and the creative experiences you hope to share with our community.
Our teaching opportunities span a wide range of disciplines and formats, including classes and workshops for all ages, intergenerational programs, community-based arts activities, and culturally focused offerings that celebrate diverse perspectives. Whether you specialize in visual arts, performance, writing, crafts, music, or emerging creative fields, we welcome proposals that inspire curiosity, skill-building, and connection. Teaching opportunities are regularly held at ACC, and offsite throughout Athens and within district K-12 schools.
