Join us on the Second Saturday in December, beginning at 1pm
The Athens Victorian Stroll is a community holiday tradition that transforms the Athens Lower Village Historic District into a bygone era, attracting residents and tourists to celebrate Athens’ rich history and burgeoning future. The Stroll’s activities and entertainment fill the streets, historic homes, restaurants and storefronts, closing with a tree lighting ceremony and caroling in Riverfront Park at 5pm.

Up and down the historic village’s Second Street and all-around town, businesses, residents and community organizations host family-friendly activities, free goodies to eat and entertainment galore, with nods to Athens’ past.
Art & Craft Vendors, Victorian Santa, Caricaturist, Ice Skating, Spirit Tasting, Community Band Concert, Historic Open House, Cookies, Ice Sculpting, Bell Ringers, Horse Drawn Trolley, Athens Museum, Live Music, Dancers, Carolers, Petting Zoo, Puppet Show & more!!

Presented and organized by Athens Cultural Center, the Victorian Stroll has been a holiday tradition in the Village of Athens since 2008. Its continued growth and success have been made possible through the support of the Athens Community Foundation, the Town and Village of Athens, and the broader Athens community.
The Victorian Stroll is a testament to the people, traditions, and community within and around Athens, and to the many people who have shared their time, talents, and support to carry this longstanding holiday tradition forward.
