Join photographer Bruce Byers for a hands-on photography workshop exploring the art of seeing, connecting, and capturing the person in front of your lens.

Whether using a DSLR, point-and-shoot, or smartphone, participants will photograph one another in ACC’s unfinished upstairs spaces, learning to capture candid moments, authentic expression, light, composition, and perspective. Drawing from more than 40 years of experience, Bruce will share his approach to slowing down, looking closely, and telling a story through a single portrait. 

No previous experience necessary—just bring a camera or phone and a willingness to experiment.
Please note: Participants must be able to climb a flight of stairs comfortably.
